Josiah at the Hospital getting his 32 stitches!!! He is very proud of his "train tracks"! He is healing so nicely..Praise the Lord- So scary for a momma!
Here's another "scary" thing for a momma....my kids were jumping in this blow up slide thing when the generator just went off.....causing this thing to immediately deflate!!!!
Again, Praise the Lord that both my kids were near the bottom instead of the top or else there could have been another bad situation! Only in India!!!
We had over 12 inches of rain in under 24 hours about a week ago..it was absolutely amazing!
I think I will take this Maruti dealerships offer on "Valet Parking" Would'nt you??? hahahahah
Due to all the rainfall, many of our roads are collapsing. This is one of the largest sink holes in our city but there are quite a few more smaller ones elsewhere...h
I dont know if you can read this billboard, but it says: "In case of emergency, cut the rope!" This is a real boat! At first, I thought how clever...then I felt sad at the thought that this might actually be needed.
We love this sight.....Many will wear a plastic bag over their head in the pouring rain. We guess they just want to keep at least their hair wet!?
This is another fun site we see regularly. Not only do we need to watch out for the cars, scooters, bikes, and people, but elephants, camels, donkeys, chickens, goats, sheep, dogs....i can go on, but you get the idea! So fun!
I have volunteered to do a "Craft time" at Josiah's school on Thursdays. It's been really fun because Hannah gets to come and Im getting to know Josiah's friends and their mothers through this! Here we are finger painting with pudding! Yum!
There is an open field nearby where people play cricket and kids watch from everywhere..houses included!
We decided to take Josiah to the roadside haircutter the other day.....He did a great job except..
He used a straight razor to shave his neck! Talk about scary! You dont use a straight razor on an active 3 year old??!! Never again.....
Happy Mother's Day!
Our city during Monsoon
This is a peak at what shopping looks like in our biggest local grocery store... You will then see why we actually prefer going to 5 different little shops to get all the things we need! ahah
